Atlas is a diagnostics business founded in 2012. We specialise in radiology services and work with mainly NHS trusts to provide on demand support across CT, MR, X-ray & Ultrasound. We are radiologist owned and privately run business. Together, our team of +200 clinicians deliver leading clinical performance, reporting over 500,000 examinations annually.

Role: Marketing Manager
Employment Type: Full time (minimum of 4 days in Salford HQ)
Pay range: £35k – £50k dependent on experience

The successful candidate will be a positively minded, team player, who is highly creative & innovative with a passion for making a brand stand out. You will be a self-starter who is organised and results driven and demonstrates the ability to think strategically with a hands-on approach.

The role will be based in our Salford head office (MediaCity) and requires a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, the 5th day can be worked remotely.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Proven success in digital marketing, content creation, lead generation & brand development (ideally within a healthcare setting (but not essential).
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking & optimising campaign performance.
  • Experience developing & executing successful recruitment marketing strategics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly & persuasively.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g. HubSpot).

What are the key responsibilities of the role?

  1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
    Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
    Identify key target audiences, including hospitals, private healthcare providers, and medical professionals, and craft tailored messaging.
    Establish marketing KPIs and regularly track, analyze, and report on campaign performance.
  2. Brand Development & Management
    Create and manage the company’s brand identity to ensure consistency across all channels, making our brand unique and recognizable.
    Develop a compelling value proposition that distinguishes our services from competitors.
    Collaborate with leadership to articulate the company’s brand vision and drive internal and external adoption.
  3. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
    Manage and optimize digital marketing channels (e.g., website, social media, email marketing, PPC, SEO) to drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
    Create and manage content marketing strategies, including blog posts, case studies, and video content, to position the company as a thought leader in radiology staffing.
    Implement targeted campaigns to recruit radiologists and other medical professionals, utilizing social media, job boards, and professional networks.
  4. Sales Enablement
    Develop marketing collateral and sales materials, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies, to support the business development team.
    Partner with the sales team to nurture leads and convert them into opportunities through effective marketing campaigns and CRM management.
  5. Recruitment Marketing
    Develop campaigns to attract top talent, including radiologists and other healthcare professionals, to meet the growing demand for outsourced staff.
    Leverage online platforms, networking events, and partnerships with medical associations to target potential recruits.
  6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
    Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
    Use insights to inform product positioning, service enhancements, and new business opportunities.
  7. Events & Partnerships
    Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and sponsorships that align with brand objectives and attract potential clients and candidates.
    Build partnerships with relevant organizations and thought leaders to enhance the company’s visibility within the healthcare sector.
  8. Budget Management
    Manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and deliver a strong ROI.
    Monitor expenditures and report on the financial performance of marketing activities.
