Atlas has intuitively evolved as radiology needs change.

Our clinically-led leadership team provide unique insight to customers, and as a small, privately-owned business, we are able to act fast and deliver tailored radiology solutions.

2011

Founded by Dr. Paul Wheeler.

2013

Secured fifth NHS trust.

2018

Expanded services to include Ultrasound, Nuclear medicine, Radiography & MDT.

2019

Clinical team grew to 29 and Director of Governance and Clinical Director appointed. Clinical Educational Meetings launched to drive clinical excellence.

2020

Now working with 15 NHS trusts.

2021

Expanded services to support workers and moved to MediaCity.

2022

Became a full-service radiology business, and obtained major accreditations like ISO:9001, ISO:14001, ISO:27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

2023

Launched teleradiology services and appointed new CFO/COO.

2024

Reached 200 team members, 40,000 examinations per month, achieved CQC registration, new Commercial Director was appointed and held first national education day event.
